Sea inside your mind

Now that I have seen

The waves upon the sea

Now that I have been

From the mountains to the valleys

Down the rivers and down the alleys

From the sidewalks to the suburbs

Threw the sunshine rain and thunder

From above to down under

Left frail in this wonder

Now that I have felt

how this life is dealt

When there’s a world to contend

Who might you keep a friend

Well if there was a sea inside your mind

Would you cross it on your own

If there was a fire in your bones

Deep down in your heart somebody made a home

Now that I have seen

How the days turn to into dreams

Well if there was a world sitting out your door

Would you have the heart to say you need a little more

Well if there was a sea inside your mind would your cross it with a paddle

If your heart was empty would you be ashamed to let it rattle

If your soul was a stead would you ride it into battle

Do you believe your mind is vast enough for both of us to travel

If there was a fire deep down in your bones somebody had a candle
