Albatross
Ride the violent ocean, atop the wind and wave
The biggest of all birds, flies all night and day
Weeks went by but the Goonie never takes from her wings
Some say she was the sailors spirit set to room the winds
Though the sailor knew for god was true
When warm winds blew an old Albatross flew
Well if I was an Albatross I'd glide the sea from shore to shore
Leave the rocks and lock my wings
For the wind is all that I call for
With wings that span thirteen feet
Of all who fly I lead the fleet
Around the globe on a yearly flight
I live on air most all my life
Ride the violent ocean, atop the wind and wave
The biggest of all birds, flies all night and day
Weeks went by but the Goonie never takes from her wings
Some say she was the sailors spirit set to room the winds
Some sailors saw ghosts when they saw her eyes they lost there minds
So the stories say some lost there way with one long gaze
Some were guided safe an omen for the lost
Same saved from the waves by the wondering albatross
